5. For applications with large surge voltage or surge current, suppression and absorption circuits should be added.

The replacement of schottky diode should use the original model as much as possible, because different models of Schottky forward voltage drop Vf and reverse breakdown voltage Vr and reverse leakage current Ir are different.
