There are many types of inductors, and the classification standards are also different. Usually classified into fixed inductors, variable inductors, and fine tuned inductors based on changes in inductance; According to the different media inside the inductor coil, it can be divided into hollow inductors, iron core inductors, magnetic core inductors, copper core inductors, etc; According to the winding characteristics, it can be divided into single-layer inductors, multi-layer inductors, honeycomb inductors, etc. The common shapes and graphic symbols of some inductors are shown in Figure 2-18.
