Abstract: A rectifier diode is a semiconductor device that converts alternating current energy into direct current energy. Usually it contains a PN junction with two terminals, anode and cathode, and has obvious unidirectional conductivity. It can be made of semiconductor materials such as germanium or silicon and is mainly used in various low-frequency rectification circuits. The article introduces the application examples of rectifier diodes in the power transformation project of civil aviation access network.diode
0 Introduction
In the naming of the Huawei HONET series product FAl6 used in the access network of Zhongnan Civil Aviation, FA means flexible access, while 16 represents up to 16 external 2 Mbps channel signals. Through the FAl6 network, radar signals, external VHF signals, PAE monitoring signals, and video monitoring signals from six provinces in central and southern China (including Hainan, Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei, Guangxi, and Henan) can all be converged in Guangzhou. Thus providing services for the Guangzhou Regional Control Center to command high-altitude flights in six provinces.diode
The top frame of the civil aviation FAl6 cabinet is a power rectifier module. The rectifier module can be powered by a UPS power supply (220 V), and then the module provides a direct current of -48 V (measured as -56.5 V) to power the FAl6 equipment.diode
1. Problems with access to network power supply
There are three terminal posts at the bottom of the FAl6 cabinet, two of which are grounding terminals and one terminal is an external power supply access terminal. Figure 1 shows the power supply schematic of the FAl6 system. At point C in Figure l, a -48V power supply can be connected to enable both the built-in power module and the external power supply of FAl6 to supply power simultaneously. This way, even if one of the power supplies is interrupted, it will not affect the normal use of FAl6.diode
