The structure of a power diode is essentially a PN junction composed of a P-type semiconductor and an N-type semiconductor. When a forward voltage is applied to the diode (i.e., the P-type terminal is positive and the N-type terminal is negative), the depletion region of the PN junction narrows, allowing current to flow through the diode. At this point, the AD8275ARMZ-R7 diode conducts, and the magnitude of the current depends on the applied voltage and the characteristics of the diode.
