Vishay launches two new liquid tantalum capacitors

Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of two new liquid tantalum capacitors - M34 and M35. The new devices are the industry's first to use truly surface mount molded packaging.diode

The M34 and M35 liquid tantalum electrolytic chip capacitors combine the advantages of all electrolytic capacitors and eliminate most of their disadvantages. Under similar capacitance and housing size, the new device can withstand higher ripple currents than other types of electrolytic capacitors. In addition, the M35 series can withstand a reverse voltage of 3V at a temperature of+85 ℃.diode

The new device can optimize all aviation, military, and aerospace power | voltage regulators currently using Vishay's ST-T1 (M34) or 135D-C/T1 (M35) housing grades, allowing for surface mount and reducing overall PCB assembly costs.diode

The capacitance range of M34 series is 10 μ F/125V~120 μ F/25V, and the capacitance range of M35 series is 1.7 μ F/125V~220 μ F/6V. The device provides all industry standard T1 liquid tantalum capacitor specifications and models, and offers lead tin or 100% tin (compliant with RoHs) lead out terminals.diode

The working temperature range of M34 and M35 is -55 ℃ to+85 ℃, and the highest temperature can reach+125 ℃ under voltage degradation. At 120Hz and+25 ℃, the standard tolerance of the device is ± 20%, and tolerances of ± 5% and ± 10% can also be provided.diode

The new surface mount liquid tantalum capacitors are now available for sample and bulk supply, with a supply cycle of approximately 20 weeks for bulk orders.
