Vishay launches new high reliability tantalum shell liquid tantalum capacitors

Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of a new series of tantalum shell liquid tantalum capacitors -136D, which uses a new glass to tantalum seal. For high reliability applications, the 136D device can operate in the temperature range of -55 ℃ to+85 ℃, and can operate at+200 ℃ with voltage derating. The ESR at 120Hz and+25 ℃ is as low as 0.44 Ω.diode

Commercial 136D capacitors are equivalent to military grade CLR90 and CLR91 devices, which are designed according to the performance requirements of military standards MIL-PRF-39006/30 and 39006/31. In addition, the devices released today are equivalent to Tansitor's EQ and ER models, as well as Kemet's T190 and T191 models.diode

Liquid tantalum capacitors have been optimized for timing, filtering, voltage holding, and energy storage applications in power regulators, military, aviation, aerospace, and petroleum exploration equipment.diode

Devices with shell codes C, F, T, and K have capacitance values ranging from 1.7 μ F to 2200 μ F. The standard capacitance tolerance at 120Hz and+25 ℃ is ± 20%, with tolerances of ± 10% and ± 5% provided. The 136D series offers standard lead/tin terminals, as well as 100% tin terminals that comply with the RoHs directive, and provides standard and extended levels.diode
