Vishay launches new high-temperature resistant tantalum capacitors

On December 5, 2011, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of a new series HI-TMP that operates at temperatures ranging from -55 ℃ to+175 ℃ and with a 50% voltage derating ® TANTAMOUNT ® Surface mount solid-state molded LM388P tantalum capacitor - TH4 series. TH4 capacitors certified by AEC-Q200 can operate at temperatures far exceeding industrial standards, providing design engineers for automotive and industrial applications with stable and more reliable products.diode

The TH4 series devices are suitable for various types of high-temperature automotive systems, such as fuel quality sensors and transmissions, EAGR、 Throttle valve and transmission system control. In addition, this device is also an excellent choice for industrial applications related to high-temperature material control, safety and industrial tools, as well as sensing tool equipment for oil drilling.

TH4 capacitors are available in three standard EIA-535BAAC outer code B, C, and D packages. The capacitance of the device ranges from 10 μ F to 47 μ F, with a rated voltage of 6.3VDC to 16VDC and capacity tolerances of 10% and 20%. The device has undergone 100% surge current testing and complies with the RoHS directive 2002/95/EC, with RoHS compliant tin or gold terminations.
