Vishay launches new surface mount molded tantalum capacitors

Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of the new TL3 series TANTAMOUNT ® Surface mount molded tantalum capacitors. This capacitor is the industry's first to have a leakage current (DCL) standard as low as 0.005CV, allowing system designers to significantly extend the battery life in portable devices.diode

The TL3 series offers a variety of devices with different capacities and voltage values, making it particularly suitable for various demanding applications and long product life requirements, such as battery powered equipment, portable instruments, tire pressure monitoring, medical instruments, power supplies, handheld instruments, and battery backup power supplies.diode

The TL3 capacitor adopts five standard EIA-535BAAC external dimensions of molded packaging, including A, B, C, D, and E, and provides options for standard and low ESR. The capacity of the device is 0.1 µ F to 470 µ F, the rated voltage is 4VDC to 63VDC, and the capacity tolerance is ± 10% and ± 20%. The external dimensions B, C, D, and E have passed 100% surge current testing and provide products with a reliability of 0.5%/1000 hours. The device adopts RoHS compliant tin termination and halogen-free.diode

The new TL3 series is now available for samples and has been mass-produced. The supply cycle for bulk orders is eight weeks.diode
