Renesas launches adjustable antenna varactor diode for digital terrestrial broadcasting 2

These new products can achieve the industry's highest capacitance change ratio of 2.7 (C1/C3 case) under low voltage conditions of approximately 3V, which helps to achieve the wideband capability required for low voltage operation and adjustable antennas. The size of RKV653KP is 0.6 × 0.3 × 0.3mm (typical value), which is said to be the smallest adjustable antenna varactor diode in the industry. This helps to easily integrate the antenna into the interior of mobile phones.diode

RKV653KP adopts a lower electrode structure with electrodes located on the lower side of the package. The lower electrode pins are gold-plated, and the packaging body is made of halogen-free resin, diode  effectively reducing the adverse effects on the environment at various stages of production and processing. RKV653KL is also a lead-free product that uses pin type EFP (ultra small flat pin package, Renesas package code) to expand the package type. Its size is 1.0mm (tube size: 0.8mm) × 0.6mm, providing optional models suitable for different systems. Renesas will use halogen-free resin encapsulation in this product.diode
