So, how can we quickly distinguish between single and bidirectional transient suppression diodes?

 

1) Look at the model: Although different brands have different naming methods for their models, there are still rules. Taking the brand Youfeng Microelectronics as an example, the letter A at the end of the model represents unidirectional, and the letter CA represents bidirectional.

 

2) Refer to the specification book: it is generally described on the page, with bidirectional conduction and unidirectional conduction;

 

3) Multimeter test: one-way and one-way, with voltage on both sides in both directions.
