Types of switching diodes

Switching diodes are divided into common switching diodes, high-speed switching diodes, ultra-high-speed switching diodes, low-power switching diodes, high back-voltage switching diodes, silicon voltage switching diodes and so on.
Folded general switching diode.
The commonly used domestic common switching diodes are 2AK series germanium switching diodes. Tables 4-8 are the main parameters of 2AK series switching diodes.
Folded high speed switching diode.
Compared with ordinary switching diodes, the reverse recovery time of high-speed switching diodes is shorter, and the switching frequency is faster.
The commonly used domestic high-speed switching diodes are 2CK series.
Imported high-speed switching diodes are 1N series, 1s series, 1SS series (with lead plastic packaging) and RLS series (surface mount).
Folded ultra-high speed switching diode.
The commonly used ultra-high speed diodes are 1SS series (with lead plastic package) and RLS series (surface package).
Folding low power switching diode.
Low-power switching diodes have lower power consumption, but their zero bias capacitance and reverse recovery time are lower than those of high-speed switching diodes.
The commonly used low-power switching diodes are RLS series (surface package) and 1SS series (with lead plastic packaging).
Folded high reverse voltage switching diode.
The reverse breakdown voltages of high reverse voltage switching diodes are all above 220V, but their zero bias capacitance and reverse recovery time are relatively large.
The commonly used high reverse voltage switching diodes are RLS series (surface package) and 1SS series (plastic packaging of leads).
Folded silicon voltage switching diode.
Silicon voltage switching diode is a new type of semiconductor device, which can be divided into unidirectional voltage switching diode and bi-directional voltage switching diode. It is mainly used in flip-flop, overvoltage protection circuit, pulse generator, high voltage output, delay, electronic switch and other circuits.
Unidirectional voltage switching diodes, also known as turning diodes, are composed of PnPN four-layer silicon semiconductors with negative resistance switching characteristics in the positive direction (that is, when the applied voltage rises to the positive turning voltage value, the switching diode changes from the cut-off state to the turn-on state, that is, from high resistance to low resistance), and the reverse is stable. Bi-directional voltage diodes are composed of NPnPN five-layer silicon semiconductors, which have the same negative resistance switching characteristics in both forward and reverse directions.
