The main parameters to pay attention to when using unidirectional thyristor are

1、 Rated on state average current IT (AV)

When the ambient temperature is 40 ℃ and the specified heat dissipation conditions, pure resistance load, and component conduction angle are greater than 170 ° C, the maximum average value I of the single-phase power frequency sine half wave current allowed by the thyristor in one cycle.

2、 On state average voltage UT (AV)

The average voltage I between the anode and cathode when the component is connected to the rated on state average current under the specified environmental and temperature heat dissipation conditions, and the junction temperature is stable.

3、 Control pole trigger voltage UGT

The minimum control electrode DC voltage required to change the thyristor from cut-off to complete conduction when a 6V voltage is applied between the anode and cathode at room temperature.

4、 Control pole trigger current IGT

When a 6V voltage is applied between the anode and cathode at room temperature... the minimum DC current required to change the thyristor from cut-off to complete conduction at the control electrode.

5、 Off state repetitive peak voltage UPFV

The forward peak voltage that can be repeatedly applied between the anode and cathode under the conditions of controlling pole disconnection and forward blocking. Its value is specified as 80% of the repetitive peak I voltage UPSM in the off state.

6、 Reverse repetitive peak voltage UPRV

The reverse peak voltage that can be repeatedly applied between the anode and cathode under the condition of controlling pole disconnection. The value is specified as 80% of the reverse non repetitive peak voltage URSM. Generally, the smaller value of UPFV and UPRV is used as the rated voltage I of the component.

7、 Maintain voltage IH

At room temperature and when the control pole is disconnected, the  drops from a large on state current to the minimum current I that can just keep the component in the on state, usually in the range of tens to over a hundred mA. If the forward current passing through is less than this value, the thyristor cannot continue to maintain conduction and self stop.
