A bridge stack is an electronic component composed of multiple diodes inside. The main function is rectification, adjusting the direction of current. Using bridge stack rectifier is relatively good, firstly because it is very convenient, and the four internal diodes are usually selected and paired, so their performance is relatively similar. In addition, when rectifying high-power, heat dissipation blocks can be installed on the bridge stack to make the performance more stable during operation. Of course, different bridge stacks should be selected according to different usage scenarios, not just based on whether the withstand voltage is sufficient, such as high-frequency characteristics.

1. Explanation of the external characteristics of the bridge pile:

(1) There are many shapes of bridge piles.

(2) The volume of bridge stacks varies, and in general, bridge stacks with higher rectified currents have larger volumes.

(3) There are four pins in the entire bridge stack, and except for the two pins marked with the "" symbol, which can be interchanged, the other pins cannot be interchanged.

(4) There are markings next to each pin of the bridge stack, but these markings may not necessarily be located at the top of the bridge stack, they can also be located next to the pins on the side. In other electronic components, there is no pin marking method like bridge stack. So it is easy to identify the bridge stack in the circuit. Bridge piles are mainly used in power circuits.

2. Explanation of Bridge Pile Characteristics:

(1) After adopting a bridge stack in the rectifier circuit, the structure of the circuit is significantly simplified, with one component (bridge stack) forming the rectifier circuit instead of multiple diodes.

(2) Circuit analysis is relatively simple, and with an understanding of the internal structure and working principles of bridge stacks and half bridge stacks, the analysis of circuit working principles is greatly simplified. However, for beginners, if they cannot master the internal structure and circuit working principles of bridge stacks and half bridge stacks, circuit analysis and troubleshooting will be more difficult. Therefore, mastering the internal structure and circuit working principles of bridge stacks and half bridge stacks is the foundation for image recognition and maintenance.
