The ρ - T curve of NTC thermistor

High temperature thermistor ρ - T curve

NTC negative temperature coefficient thermistor has the following characteristics: ① High precision. The deviation between the B constant and resistance value of NTC thermistor is very small. The deviation of the B constant is generally below 0.5%, which is equivalent to a temperature deviation of below 0.5% when the temperature range is 100T. Below, this is equivalent to an impact on temperature measurement below ± 0.25 points. ② High reliability. The NTC thermistor produced in modern times was tested for 2000 hours under high temperature conditions of 100 ℃ and 60 ℃ -95% RH, and its resistance change rate was almost zero without any aging phenomenon. ③ Miniaturization and fast response. With the advancement of ceramic technology, bead shaped and leaf shaped thermistors with a diameter of less than 0.5mm can now be produced, and their thermal time constant in water is only 0.1~0.2s. ④ Low cost and affordable price. The characteristics of NTC thermistor make it widely used in industries, agriculture, technology, medicine, communication, and home appliances. 2. CTR Thermistor CTR Thermistor is made by mixing and sintering vanadium trioxide with oxides such as barium and silicon in a weak reducing atmosphere of phosphorus and silicon oxides. It has a semi glass shape and a negative temperature coefficient. CTR thermistors are usually encapsulated in resin and used in bead or thick film form, with a resistance value between 1k Ω and 1OM Ω.  diode
