Vishay releases new series of microchip NTC thermistors

Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of a new series of microchip negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistors. The maximum object detection diameter of this thermistor is very small, only 1.6mm, and the response time in air and oil is less than 3s and 0.7s respectively. The NTCLE305E4xxxSB device can accurately measure over a wide temperature range, with an accuracy of ± 0.5 ℃ in the range of+25 ℃ to+85 ℃ and ± 1.0 ℃ in the range of -40 ℃ to+125 ℃. diode

The resistance values (R25) of the three thermistors released today at+25 ℃ enable designers to meet the requirements of their applications for self heating, voltage drop, or noise suppression. The R25 of NTCLE305E4202SB, NTCLE305E4502SB, and NTCLE305E4103SB are 2060 Ω, 5000 Ω, and 10000 Ω, respectively, and other resistance values can be provided according to requirements.

These devices have passed AEC-Q200 certification, especially capable of withstanding 2000 thermal shock cycles, and can be used for temperature detection circuits in automotive temperature probes and control units, industrial boilers, battery packs, and fire detectors.diode

The NTCLE305E4xxxSB device contains a miniature NTC chip with two insulated silver plated nickel wires that are very sturdy and coated with a layer of reddish brown resin paint. The flexible leads of thermistors make mounting and assembly simple. The device complies with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and meets the requirements of WEEE 2002/96/EC and ELV 2000/53/EC specifications.
