Capacitance measuring instrument: If you have a capacitance measuring instrument at hand (such as a multimeter with capacitance measurement function), you can directly measure the actual capacity of a capacitor. Connect the capacitance of the measuring instrument to the two pins of the capacitor, ensuring that the capacitor is free of charge and isolated from other circuits, in order to directly read the capacitance value of the capacitor.

4. Calculation formula: In theory, if you know the physical parameters of a capacitor, such as the relative permittivity (ε r) of the dielectric, the area (A) of the dielectric, and the thickness (d) of the dielectric, you can use the following formula to calculate the capacity of an ideal capacitor:  diode

C is the capacity of the capacitor (Farad, F);

ε 0 is the dielectric constant of vacuum, approximately 8.854 × 10 ^ -12 F/m;

ε r is the relative dielectric constant of the medium;
