③ Voltage inspection. When checking the voltage with a multimeter in DC voltage mode, turn on the ignition switch and check the power supply voltage between terminals 3 and 1 of the manifold pressure sensor connector. The standard value should be around 5V; When the ignition switch is turned on and the engine is not running, check the voltage between the signal output terminal 4 of the manifold pressure sensor and the grounding terminal 1. The standard value should be 3.8-4.2V; when the engine is idling, the signal voltage should be 0.8-1.3V; when the throttle is increased, the signal voltage should rise. If the signal voltage does not meet the above requirements after inspection, it indicates that the sensor has been damaged and should be replaced.diode

(4) Detection of the manifold pressure sensor for the Crown 3. O sedan diode
The Crown 3.0 sedan engine uses a pressure-sensitive resistor intake manifold pressure sensor to detect intake pressure. The connection circuit and voltage output characteristic curve between the sensor and ECU are shown in Figure 7.

① Check the power supply voltage of the manifold pressure sensor. Remove the sensor connector plug, turn on the ignition switch, and use a multimeter to measure the voltage between the sensor's VCC and E2 terminals. The standard value should be within the range of 4.5-5.5V, as shown in Figure 8. After the measurement is completed, the connector should be reconnected.
