How to classify MOSFET low-voltage MOS s and high-voltage MOS s

MOSFET is a kind of FET (the other is JFET), which can be manufactured into 4 types of enhanced or depleted type, P-channel or N-channel, but only enhanced N-channel MOS  and enhanced P-channel MOS  are actually used, so NMOS is usually mentioned, or PMOS refers to these two.

    There are several classification methods for MOS s:

    1. Classification by voltage

    It can be divided into medium and low pressure MOS  and high pressure MOSFET

    2. Classification by power

    It can be divided into high-power, medium-power and low-power MOSFET

    3. It can be divided into junction  and insulation grid type

    (1) Junction  (JFET): There are two structural forms of junction FET, they are N-channel junction FET and P-channel junction MOSFET.

    (2) Insulating gate type: Insulated gate FET also has two structural forms, they are N-channel type and P-channel type. Regardless of the channel, they are divided into two types: enhanced and depleted.

    4. Classification by channel

    It can be divided into N-channel and P-channel s (you can see in the symbol diagram that the arrow direction in the middle is different).
