SOD is the English abbreviation of Small Outline diode (Small Outline Diode), and a series of standard packaging forms have been derived. These diode packages are distinguished by a series of numbers after SOD, such as SOD-23, SOD-523, SOD323 and so on. Their package dimensions are as follows:

SOD-123 plastic body size: L2.70mm, W1.60mm, H1.10mm.

SOD-123 (12FN) plastic body size: L2.70mm, W1.60mm, H1.10mm.

SOD-323 plastic body size: L1.70mm, W1.30mm, H1.00mm.

SOD-523 plastic body size: L1.20mm, W0.80mm, H0.60mm.

SOD-723 plastic body size: L1.00mm, W0.60mm, H0.55mm.

SOD diodes are generally packed in reels. Among them, SOD-123 package and SOD-323 package unit reel load 3000 diodes, SOD-523 package and SOD-723 package unit reel load 8000 diodes.
