What should be paid attention to when the fast recovery diode is used as a Flyback diode

Four points should be noted when replacing Flyback diode with fast recovery diode:

1、 The Flyback diode is an effective means to prevent the damage to related components caused by the high voltage generated by self induced potential when the DC coil is powered off

2、 The polarity of the Flyback diode cannot be connected incorrectly, otherwise it will cause a short circuit accident;

3、 The Flyback diode is always inversely connected to the DC voltage, that is, the negative pole of the diode is connected to the positive pole of the DC current;

4、 The Flyback diode works in the forward conduction state, not in the breakdown state or high-speed switch state.
