Rectifier bridge fault detection method

Rectifier bridge fault detection method

The rectifier bridge seals the rectifier diode in a shell. Divided into full bridge and half bridge. A full bridge is the process of sealing together the four diodes of a connected bridge rectifier circuit. Half bridge refers to the sealing of half of four diode bridge rectifiers together. Two half bridges can form a Rectifier bridge circuit, and one half bridge can also form a full wave rectifier circuit with a transformer with a central tap. When selecting a Rectifier bridge, the rectifier circuit and working voltage should be considered.

Principle:

Rectifier bridge stacks are generally used in full wave rectifier circuits, which are further divided into full bridge and half bridge.

The full bridge is composed of four rectifier diodes connected and packaged in the form of a bridge full wave rectifier circuit.

The forward current of the full bridge has various specifications such as 0.5A, 1A, 1.5A, 2A, 2.5A, 3A, 5A, 10A, 20A, 35A, 50A, etc., and the withstand voltage (reverse voltage) has various specifications such as 25V, 50V, 100V, 200V, 300V, 400V, 500V, 600V, 800V, 1000V, etc.

Choosing a Rectifier bridge should consider the rectifier circuit and working voltage. Rectifier bridge stacks are generally used in full wave rectifier circuits, which are further divided into full bridge and half bridge.

Fault detection method:

(1) If the positive and negative DC output voltages are not normal, it is not necessary to check the rectifier diodes, but to check the power transformer, as the possibility of several rectifier diodes experiencing the same fault at the same time is relatively low.

(2) When a certain set of rectifier circuits malfunctions, the fault detection method introduced earlier can be used for inspection. The diodes VD1 and VD3, VD2 and VD4 in the rectifier diode of this circuit are in parallel with the DC circuit, and will affect each other during in circuit detection. Therefore, accurate detection should disconnect the diode from
